UNIVERSITY SEARCH AND APPLICATION
Higher Education in the UK is very prestigious and attracts students from all over the world. Universities offer a variety of undergraduate and graduate degrees that cater to a wide range of interests and make the UK an attractive choice for students to pursue the career of their choice. Universities not only support students throughout their academic journey but also their personal development and wellbeing.
For undergraduate applications, the UK university application process is done through a centralised system called UCAS. UCAS allow students to apply to up to 5 universities in the UK (England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland). To apply, students would need to:

-
Register to UCAS and later submit the application form (including paying the application fee)
-
Meet any specific entry requirements for your selected courses
-
Write a great Personal Statement
-
Gather transcripts or grade certificates from previous years, and predicted grades for the current year (last year of schooling)
-
Appoint a teacher from school who will write a recommendation letter to be submitted with your application
-
Have current English Language certificates (either Cambridge Examinations, IELTS, TOEFL)
-
If applying for courses such as art, architecture or design, you will need to provide a portfolio. If applying to careers such as medicine, dentistry or law, external examinations would be required.
